Clean and Classic

Take your scarf and fold it lengthwise in the width that you desire. Ideally, it should be the width of your smartphone. This will show off your scarf’s designs or patterns without completely hiding your gorgeous locks.

Place it on your nape and pull up the ends towards your forehead. You can choose to tie them in a knot or a bow, whichever suits your look.

You will still be left with quite a length of scarf, so you can just pull it back down to your nape and make another knot. Let the ends dangle at the back or pull them over your shoulders. Watch the full video instruction here.

Here’s WHY you should sleep with a scarf in your hair!

Everyday Elegance or Casual Chic?

YouTube beauty vlogger JaaackJack has a few great ideas when it comes to wearing headscarves on short hair. One simple style she shows is by covering your head with it and securing it with a simple knot at your nape.

If you want something bigger and makes a strong fashion statement, you can try another style by folding it into a triangle. Tie the ends into a bow near your forehead and tuck the rest in to clean up the look.

This is a great style to wear when you’re hitting the beach, going out for brunch, spending a day at an outdoor music festival, or going out on a date with your significant other. You can easily glam up your look or make it more casual just by your scarf’s style or color!

Did you know that you can also create a top knot or a top bun with your headscarf? You can go for pastel or dark colors. Simply wrap it and pull the ends to where you want the bun or the knot to be.

Twist your scarf all the way to the end and fix it in a bun. Secure it in place, and you’ve got yourself an instant bun!

You can do another style, but instead of pulling the ends to the top, bring them to the back and twist them all the way down. When you’re done with that, fix it into a bun on your nape or on the side of your neck.

Sexy and Sleek

Are you short-haired but want to create the illusion of having a full and thick bun? It’s possible! First, roll up one scarf into a bun and place it on top of your head, and then wrap it with another!

Put it over the bun and then do any of the styles mentioned above. Just make sure that it’s securely tied at the back of your neck so that your bun won’t wiggle and jiggle whenever you move.

Of course, it will be totally up to you to answer people’s questions how you managed to twist your short hair into a top bun!

If you want a cleaner and sleeker look, you can fold it lengthwise and secure it with a knot on your nape. Twist the two ends to look like thin braids, and then wrap them around securely.

Complete the look with a pair of dangling or chunky earrings, or a statement necklace, or a vibrant top or dress.

Having short hair means that you can easily wear your scarf as a turban. Simply put it on your nape and bring the ends up to your forehead, making sure to crisscross them before tying them in a knot.

Tie the ends back to your nape and secure the turban. It’s a clean and classy look that will definitely tame frizzy or unruly hair, as well as keep your stubborn bangs away from your eyes.
