Let’s get cooking!

1. Aloe vera hair mask for hair growth

One of the best aloe vera hair growth recipes is an aloe vera and castor oil hair mask/serum. Castor oil is a mega hair growth stimulator, so mixing it with the power of aloe vera gel makes it a super agent in slowing hair fall and promoting new growth.

To make this mask you’ll need 2 tablespoons of castor oil, 1 cup of aloe vera gel, 1 cup of basil powder, and 2 tablespoons Fenugreek powder. Mix the first two ingredients well and then add the second two. Blend everything together until you have an even paste.

Apply it to your scalp and your hair, and wrap your hair in a towel or cover with a shower cap. This works best overnight, so once you wake up you can wash it out and style as usual!

For this Dry Scalp Remedy from Color Your Health, you’ll need: 4 tablespoons fractionated coconut oil, 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel, 10 drops tea tree essential oil, 6 drops vitamin E oil, and a 4 oz. Glass Dropper Bottle.

Combine your ingredients in to your dropper bottle and shake it well to combine them. Part your hair in to several sections. Drop the mixture along the part line of each section and massage it into your scalp at each part. Once you’ve distributed the entire mixture into your scalp, you may want to wrap your hair in a head wrap or band to keep the oil off your face.

Leave this mask in from 2 hours to overnight to get major benefits. Wash and style your hair as usual, and notice a fresher feeling, less irritated scalp.

3. Aloe vera hair mask for frizzy hair

For those battling the dreaded frizz, you’ll be happy to know that you can even make an aloe vera hair mask for frizzy hair! Whip up an aloe vera and olive oil hair mask to de-fuzz and tame your frizzy locks. The oil will work to moisturize your hair and give it volume and shine.

For this mask, you will need to mix 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 or 3 tablespoons of aloe vera together in a small bowl. Work the mixture in to your entire scalp, and spend 15 minutes massaging it in to your head and hair. After 15 minutes, leave the mask for another half an hour. Rinse it out with water, and enjoy the results!

5. Aloe vera hair mask for shiny hair

Now lets look at an aloe vera hair mask for shiny hair. That’s right, you don’t have to suffer through dull, lackluster looks any longer. Whipping up an aloe vera and egg hair mask will make you and your hair shine all day. Best news? Two ingredients!

Mix 1 whole egg in to 1 cup of aloe vera gel, and that’s it! Apply the mask to your hair and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Once your timer goes off, use cool water to rinse out the mask. The properties of the egg work together with aloe vera to deep condition your hair and make it glow!

6. Aloe vera hair mask for oily hair

We can’t leave out an aloe vera hair mask for oily hair! Make an aloe vera and lemon hair mask to tame your oil production right at the scalp, while maintaining softness and shine!

Grab 4 tbsp aloe vera gel (fresh is best!), 4 tbsp coconut oil, and the juice of one full lemon. Mix up your ingredients in a small bowl. Using a small brush, distribute the mask at your roots, working on one section at a time.

Once you’ve applied your mask, you’ll want to leave it on for one hour. Wash, rinse, and repeat once a week!
